Project Description:

The Terminal Wide Baggage Portals Security Upgrades was a Miami International Airport terminal wide (terminals E-H) security enhancement project. This project was mandated by the FAA to enhance and standardize the security of the Airport between the Land and the Airside. The nature of this project involved removal and discard of 36 existing roll up doors, custom sized fabrication and installation of 42 new roll up doors and frames. Demolition of existing doors and surrounding walls and concrete structures. Build masonry and concrete walls and mechanical door enclosure rooms. Install Matrix card readers and the associated electronics at each of the doors.
